Jeffrey L. Lipkowitz, MD, FACS
Dr. Lipkowitz, a native of Bucks County, graduated from Vassar College and received his medical degree from Temple University. He completed his residency at the Pittsburgh Eye and Ear Institute of the University of Pittsburgh and his vitreoretinal fellowship at the Doheny Eye Institute of the University of Southern California. Following his fellowship, he served as assistant professor at the University of Michigan. He founded Delaware Valley Retina Associates in 1985 and performed the first vitrectomy for retinal disease in Mercer County.
Dr. Lipkowitz is board certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology and is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Retina Specialists, the New Jersey Retina Society, and both the New Jersey and Pennsylvania Academies of Ophthalmology. He has previously served as the Section Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology at Capital Health System.
Dr. Lipkowitz serves as a staff physician at Capital Health Medical Center Hopewell, NJ, Princeton Health Care System, Plainsboro, NJ and Saint Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, PA. He has researched, published and lectured on numerous topics in ophthalmology, including diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, endophthalmitis, retinal vascular disease, retinal drug toxicity and retinal detachment.
